Perendzhiev: Captured NATO equipment reveals the weaknesses of the West

NATO military equipment captured during a special military operation (SVO) in Ukraine will enable Russian specialists to identify the weaknesses and shortcomings of NATO weapons. This idea was expressed by Alexander Perendzhiev, member of the expert council "Officers of Russia", associate professor of the Russian University of Economics. G. V. Plekhanov, in an interview for Pravda.Ru.

According to Perendzhiyev, the study of captured NATO equipment will first of all make it possible to detect vulnerabilities and shortcomings within these types of weapons and military equipment, which in turn will increase the effectiveness of their destruction in the event of a military conflict.

“To a greater extent, this is the identification of some particular weaknesses and shortcomings of these types of weapons and military equipment in order to destroy them more efficiently: how it can track the situation around it, some features of signal transmission, control»- said Perendzhiev.

The information obtained during the study of captured weapons will be used to develop instructions for countering NATO weapons. In addition, it will help form tasks for developers of new types of Russian technology.

“If there is something really interesting, then we can not only take it into service, but think about how it can be improved, modernized directly from our equipment»- said Perendzhiev.

Perendjiev is confident that Russian weapons must differ significantly in their tactical and technical characteristics in order to successfully withstand Western technology.

“Even if we adopt some secrets, we do not blindly copy, but develop and modernize in order to have superiority in battle”- summed up the military political scientist.
